Erev Liberation Seder and Shabbat Services with Am Tikva The seder features a retelling of the story of gay liberation, an explanation of the symbols that we use, and provides an eyewitness account of the Stonewall rebellion. This year marks the 35th anniversary of Stonewall, and the 1st year of gay marriage in Massachusetts. Join us as we commemorate our past and celebrate the present! The Progressive Chavurah has been invited to join Am Tikva for this service to encourage tolerance and understanding of all members of the Jewish communities that share space at Temple Sinai. Members of Am Tikva will be marching in the Gay Pride parade this weekend. |
