Siddur Communities

Who Uses Siddur Chaveirim Kol Yisraeil?

The Siddur project was initiated by the Progressive Chavurah of Boston, for use at its own services. Other communities across North America have answered our call to work on it with us.

In addition to the Progressive Chavurah of Boston, preliminary "test" editions of this Siddur have been used by synagogues and chavurot in New Haven, Connecticut; Rochester, NY; Hamilton, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Jersey City, New Jersey; and Washington, DC.

The National Havurah Committee has used a preliminary edition at its Summer Institutes, New England Winter Retreat, and Canadian-American Regional Retreats, since 1997.

A special edition of this Siddur was in use at Shabbat Boston (formerly Nashira Shabbat ), Greater Boston's Friday Night Services for Young Adults, a program of the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts, promoting Jewish identity through community, ritual, and learning.
